Humor is mankind’s greatest blessing. ~ Mark Twain

There is no law written anywhere that states that RSVP cards have to be boring and uninteresting. They certainly can be formal and traditional, but why not dare be different and make them unique and humorous? Of course, if the plan is to have a formal wedding, this may not be an appropriate idea, but it will work well if the tone of the wedding ceremony is casual and fun.

You need to begin with the ABCs of RSVPs: namely, guests’ names and number in their party, the issue of whether or not they will attend and then let your creativity hurl you from the confines of that proverbial box and into the winds of unconventional uncertainty.

Instead of just saying “accepts with pleasure/declines with regrets”, consider:
__Can’t Wait
__Can’t Come
__Can Wait But Can’t Come
__Can Come But Can’t Wait

OR

__Want To Come But Can’t
__Don’t Want To Come But Will
__Don’t Want To Come And Won’t
__Want To Come and Might

OR

__Gladly Attend
__Regretfully Decline
__Regretfully Attend
__Enthusiastically Decline
__Will Decline to Respond but Ultimately Attend

OR

__You Bet!
__Yah about coming to your reception
